Super Smoothie Recipe

Kale and Berry Smoothie

Snack packed with nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A, potassium, iron, calcium and vitamin D while also providing you with needed carbohydrates and proteins to re-fuel and re-build your muscles after training or as an easy to digest pre training snack.


2 cups raw kale, rinsed and chopped (can use spinach)
1 cup fresh berries or 2 handfuls of frozen berries (choose high anti-oxidant berries like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries)
1 cup yogurt (unsweetened plain yogurt or ½ cup fruit yogurt and ½ cup unsweetened)
1 banana
3-4 ice cubes cup ice cubes

2-3 Tbsp skim milk powder or protein powder if product safety approved by your nutrition coach

¼ cup cottage cheese (optional to further increase protein)


Combine all ingredients into blender or magic bullet and mix until smooth. Bon Apetit!
