Liles Qualifies for Kona

Stephanie Liles joined LifeSport last winter after signing up for her first Ironman, her home state race IM Florida. She has been in the sport for just over 5 years and has worked her way up to being one of the top age group women in Florida. Like many triathletes, works her day job off as a medical office manager, is the best mom she can be to her three wonderful children, as well as coaching the local girls soccer team. Tisseyre on the Podium at World Championships!
Thomas Repeats as 35-39 Age Group World Champion

LifeSport Pro athlete Magali Tisseyre put the icing on the cake to her dream season with a 3rd place finish at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater, Florida.  Tisseyre, who has had 5 top 5 70.3 finishes this year, including a win in Boise, came out of the water in 17th and moved to 8th place by the end of the bike.  She used a stellar run to move in to 4th place, leaving triathlon legends Michellie Jones and Laure Bennett behind, with 1 mile to go - 45 seconds back of 3rd place.

Magali Tisseyre had always been more into music than sports, but then she discovered triathlons. \"I had started a career as a Violinist before going to college and taking up triathlon…but I always was a musician with a taste for sports. All kinds! I tried them all and loved them all, from downhill skiing and boarder cross to waterskiing and windsurfing. However, I always secretly wished I could find one sport I really loved and focus on it. I had some very encouraging first experiences in high school when I tried a cross country and mountain bike race in the context of our gym class, but I didn\'t hear about triathlon until later, in college. I decided to join the Laval University triathlon team (Quebec city) and started training without ever looking back! I had found my sport.\"
